Our Founder's Philosophy
It is my profound belief that the troubles we have today in America with the high crime rate and rampant drug abuse is the direct result of three (3) combinations that are left out of life. We must win over the young people, plain and simple fact. The Bible states that we should train the young and when they are old they will not depart from it.
1. The young need a solid home life where mothers and fathers care for their children. I do not mean money and gifts. What is necessary is to talk to them, listen to them, walk with them, spend much time with them, and hug them.
2. The young need self-esteem. They need to believe in themselves. They are not to be called stupid or dumb. They need to be coaxed and taught at home. They must learn that mistakes lead to success.
3. They need to attend church or synagogue regularly. Their spirits need uplifting and their souls need to be satisfied. We must get back to old fashioned values.
Whatever happened to "no sir" and "yes sir"? Why isn't the bed made and the clothes hung up? Who should cut the grass and shovel the snow? Turn off the silly television and talk about life. Refuse to watch the horror shows. Life is too short and soon your babies will be men and women before you know it. The adult life they will live in the future could have a lot to do with what you do now. It is your choice.Prof. David L. Grosscup
